Launch of EU Project UNLOOC
Organ-on-Chip (OOC) technologies aim to mimic the physiological and functional properties of human organs in a microstructured platform. OOC is a rapidly advancing technology and provides a powerful tool for drug development, disease modeling and personalized medicine.
We're excited to be part of UNLOOC, a three-year project consortium aiming to develop groundbreaking OOC technologies. The applications developed within the project will enable more comprehensive drug development, while mitigatating the challenges posed by the use of animals in drug development and testing.
The UNLOOC consortium brings together a total of 51 organizations from 10 countries, and is funded by Chips Joint Undertaking and national agencies.
